Summary
Baptist Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for their Primary Care Department at Baptist Primary Care Nocatee Pediatrics in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time position focused on back office responsibilities.
About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will provide nursing assistance to physicians, obtain vital signs, greet and chaperone patients during medical visits, maintain medical documentation, schedule care and diagnostic tests as per physician instructions, and process prescription requests and referrals.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred:
- Associate's Degree
- 3-5 years experience working in a medical office
- 2 years Medical Assistant experience
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
