About the Role
As a Medical Billing Manager, you will manage full-cycle medical billing operations, including coding oversight, claim submission, payment posting, and denial management. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific billing regulations, track billing performance metrics, and supervise the billing team while collaborating with clinical and administrative staff.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in medical billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, and electronic billing systems.
- Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care payors.
- Proficient with billing software, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred:
- Experience with nonprofit healthcare organizations or community health centers.
- Experience with Practice Perfect.
