About the Role
As a Medical Clerk II, you will be responsible for scheduling, reception, records maintenance, and coordination with other hospital clinics. Your daily tasks will include greeting and assisting patients, answering and directing calls, scheduling appointments, coordinating patient visits, and maintaining patient charts and electronic databases. You will also perform clerical duties such as mail delivery, faxing, and maintaining office supplies.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One (1) year of medical office experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of customer service concepts and practice.
- Knowledge of multi-line telephone systems operation.
- Knowledge of privacy laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and clinic systems.
