About the Role
As the Medical Director, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight of psychiatric services, ensuring compliance with CCBHC standards and federal regulations. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, champion open access to care, and collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning. Your responsibilities will also include providing psychiatric evaluations and integrating services with primary care and substance use treatment.
About You
Required:
MD or DO with board certification in Psychiatry (Adult and/or Child & Adolescent).
Current licensure (or eligible for licensure) to practice in Florida.
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in psychiatry, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Demonstrated experience working in community behavioral health or public health settings.
Strong knowledge of the CCBHC model, Open Access, and integrated care systems.
Preferred:
Commitment to culturally competent, trauma-informed, and person-centered care.
Proven ability to lead clinical teams, mentor staff, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
