About the Role
As the Medical Director of Psychiatry, you will collaborate with healthcare and correctional administration to enhance behavioral health practices, supervise psychiatric staff, and lead an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care for a vulnerable population. You will also be responsible for revising policies and training psychiatry residents.
About You
Required:
- At least three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care environment AND one (1) year in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
- Completion of ACGME-approved Psychiatry residency.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment.
Preferred:
- Certification as a Correctional Health Professional by the National Commission of Correctional Medicine or membership in the American College of Correctional Physicians or American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law.
