About the Role
As a Medical Lab Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting routine and special laboratory procedures, quality control, preventative maintenance, and minor equipment repairs. You will also participate in quality assurance tasks, new employee training, and proficiency testing as assigned.
About You
Required:
- Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a chemical, physical, or biological science.
- ASCP certification or equivalent.
- 5+ years of clinical laboratory experience as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Scientist.
Preferred:
- Current knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques and principles.
- Certification within a specific area, i.e., M(ASCP), H(ASCP), C(ASCP).
