About the Role
As a Medical Laboratory Scientist I, you will be responsible for performing technical, specimen collection/processing, and clerical functions in laboratory areas. You will maintain records of performance, supervise Medical Laboratory Technicians, and may instruct new employees and students. This role requires working on a night shift rotating schedule with a small team.
About You
Required:
- Valid Medical Technologist - Generalist license in the State of Florida.
- At least one year of working experience as a Medical Technologist.
- Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Certified Medical Technologist (MT).
- Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
