About the Role

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, maintaining performance records, and ensuring quality control standards are met. You will also participate in training and onboarding laboratory team members and may engage in research and development activities. This position will initially be based in Muncie and will transition to the new IU Health Fort Wayne facility by Spring 2027.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related sciences.
One (1) year of relevant experience.
Certification or eligibility for board certification by ASCP, AMT, NCA or equivalent certification.

Preferred:

Self-motivated and proactive.
Skilled in training and mentoring peers.
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
