About the Role
As a Medical Laboratory Technician I, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples, handling specimens, preparing samples for analysis, and assisting with COVID-19 screenings. You will also train phlebotomy students and perform daily report printing for laboratory supervisor review. This position operates on a second shift schedule from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
About You
Required:
- Associate's degree in medical technology from an accredited institution or completion of a certified laboratory assistant course.
- Documented knowledge of phlebotomy procedures and laboratory equipment.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED with two years of medical laboratory experience.
- Experience in a correctional facility or similar environment.
