About the Role
As a Medical Office Assistant III, you will be responsible for managing phone calls and visitors, scheduling patient appointments, completing patient registrations, entering physician charges into billing systems, transcribing dictation, maintaining files and records, organizing meetings, and ordering supplies. You will also orient new employees to hospital procedures and ensure smooth office operations.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 3 years experience in a doctor's office or medical environment demonstrating organizational skills and familiarity with medical terminology.
Preferred:
- Technical or specialized training in secretarial/medical office support.
- Experience with office computers and data entry.
