Summary

Nuvance Health is seeking a Medical Office LPN for the Primary Care department in Danbury, CT. The role involves assisting physicians and physician assistants in providing primary medical care to patients.

About the Role

As a Medical Office LPN, you will prepare materials and equipment for patient exams, obtain patient histories and vital signs, provide direct patient care including vaccinations and wound care, collect and analyze patient specimens, and instruct patients on preventive care and medication management. You will also handle follow-up communications with patients and fulfill compliance responsibilities.

About You

Required:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.
Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
Computer skills/data entry.
Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals.
Vaccine administration and medication preparation.

Preferred:

Minimum Experience: one year.
Proficiency in multiple languages.
Phlebotomy.
EKG.
