About the Role
As a Medical Records Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and updating electronic and paper medical records. Your daily tasks will include ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of patient information, assisting with record requests, and supporting audits and administrative tasks related to medical records. You will also communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in medical records, healthcare administration, or clerical work.
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
