About the Role
As a Medical Records Clerk at PMC, you will play a crucial role in the patient experience by managing electronic medical records. Your responsibilities will include filing and retrieving medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation, scanning and indexing documents, and maintaining confidentiality. You will also communicate with staff and patients regarding record requests and may assist with switchboard duties and release of information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
- Prior medical records and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience preferred.
