About the Role
As a Medical Records Specialist I, you will be responsible for receiving and processing requests for patient health information, maintaining confidentiality, managing patient health records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. You will also assist with administrative duties, respond to requests for patient records, and maintain working knowledge of company software.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare environment.
- Previous production/metric-based work experience.
- In-person customer service experience.
