About the Role
As a Medical Scribe, you will accompany orthopedic physicians during office visits, accurately recording all aspects of patient encounters. You will participate in a formal training program to learn medical terminology and the components of orthopedic medical notes. Your responsibilities will include documenting chief complaints, physical exams, and physician assessments, while also gaining proficiency in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
About You
Required:
- Proficient knowledge in musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology.
- Knowledge in general medical terminology, conditions, and interactions.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with EMR systems.
