About the Role
As a Medical Social Worker/Licensed Social Worker, you will provide social work services based on physician's orders, conduct assessments for patients, participate in treatment planning, and provide psychotherapeutic interventions. You will also serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with regulations.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current license in the state of practice (MSW/LCSW).
- Current CPR/Basic Life Support certification.
- Knowledge of social service principles and crisis dynamics.
- Ability to assess patient conditions and respond to emergencies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in medical terminology and Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
- Minimum of one year of experience with mental health/psychiatric patients.
- Experience in providing group therapy.
