Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Medical Supply Sales Representative to join their team in Oakland, CA. The role involves selling medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and establishing strong client relationships.
About the Role
As a Medical Supply Sales Representative, you will be responsible for calling on hospitals within the East Bay territory to sell a variety of products including exam gloves, durable medical equipment, and surgical trays. Your daily tasks will include making sales presentations, nurturing client relationships, preparing bids, and occasionally cold calling to develop new markets. You will work collaboratively with peers to ensure effective team building and leadership in closing sales.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience or at least 5 years of relevant sales experience.
- Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to drive a car and travel 90% of the day to interact with healthcare providers.
Preferred:
- Experience in medical supply sales or related field.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to manage multiple product lines.
