About the Role
As a Medical Technologist I (MT I) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), you will investigate problems with equipment and test results, perform quality control and equipment maintenance, conduct various laboratory tests, prepare specimens, and report results to healthcare providers. You may also participate in teaching and training new employees.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree for MT I or Associate’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technician, Chemical Science, or Biological Science for MLT.
- Eligibility to sit for the MT certification exam within 12 months of hire for MT I or ASCP/AMT eligibility for MLT.
Preferred:
- MT certification must be obtained within one year of becoming exam eligible for MT I.
- MLT (ASCP/AMT) certification upon hire for MLT.
