About the Role
As a Medication Aide / Caregiver, you will be responsible for respecting residents' autonomy, assisting with self-care, administering medications, and meeting psychosocial needs through planned activities. You will also maintain cleanliness in the household and assist with residents' personal laundry. The position requires working part-time during evening shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.
About You
Required:
- Must be 18 years of age or older unless active on the Nurse Aide registry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required unless active on the Nurse Aide registry.
- Must be able to successfully complete required medication training.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working with older adults.
- Excellent customer service skills.
