Vellum is seeking a Gen AI Account Executive to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves owning the sales process, managing deals, and building a pipeline to bring AI into production for various companies.
About the Role
As a Gen AI Account Executive, you will be responsible for qualifying new prospects, managing deals to closure, and coordinating discussions with legal, procurement, and security teams. You will also build your own pipeline, experiment with outbound tactics, and collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to drive sales and inform the product roadmap.
About You
Required:
Minimum 3 years of quota carrying experience at a B2B startup.
Experience selling 5 & 6 figure ACV contracts.
Experience working at a Seed, Series A, or Series B startup.
Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical buyers.
Preferred:
Experience as an early sales team member at a startup.
Familiarity with Gen AI / LLM space.
Excitement to build the sales function from the ground-up.
