The Conference Board is seeking a Member Development Executive to join their new business development team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role focuses on new client acquisition and expanding relationships within existing accounts.
About the Role
As a Member Development Executive (MDE), you will be responsible for achieving individual annual sales quotas, gaining knowledge of TCB's products and services, and communicating proposals to prospective clients. You will work with the Member Development and Council team to onboard new clients and leverage social media and research insights to expand TCB's global footprint.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years in a revenue generating position.
Strong business acumen, corporate communication skills, strategic thinking, and consultative sales strategy.
Preferred:
4-8 years of professional experience.
An MBA or other advanced degree.
Knowledge and experience with the Sandler Sales Methodology and/or The Challenger Sale.
Knowledge of Sugar and Outreach.
Strong understanding of B2B social selling and thought leadership.
