YMCA of Greater Kansas City is seeking a Member Engagement Representative to join their team in Kansas City, MO. The role involves providing excellent customer service and engaging with members and the public to promote services, programs, and events.
About the Role
As a Member Engagement Representative, you will be the first point of contact for the public at the YMCA. Your responsibilities include greeting members and participants, answering phone inquiries, handling complaints, providing accurate information, and conducting tours of the facility. You will also manage membership sales systems, ensure the welcome center is organized, and support activities to increase membership.
About You
Required:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Good communication skills, including phone skills.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Basic math skills for handling fees.
Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to new software.
Preferred:
Experience working in a customer service role.
Ability to work effectively with people of different backgrounds and abilities.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.
