Summary
Wind River is seeking a Member of Technical Staff - Product Security to join their team in Walnut Creek, CA. The role focuses on implementing modern DevSecOps technologies and pioneering new security tools for cloud-native solutions.
About the Role
As a Member of Technical Staff, you will be responsible for securing applications in OnPrem and Public Cloud environments, establishing security policies for Docker and Kubernetes, automating application security policies, and managing secure integrations between various tools. You will also drive vulnerability management and contribute to the development of security features for cloud providers.
About You
Required:
- 8+ years of relevant technical experience in cybersecurity with 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
- BS / MS degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
- Expertise in Application Security and network design.
- Hands-on experience with security tools like Coverity, BurpSuite, ZAP, Trivy, PRISMA Cloud, Tenable, Rapid7.
- Excellent programming skills using Python and Go.
Preferred:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code including Terraform and Helm.
- Knowledge of security penetration testing and threat modeling.
- Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST SP 800-53 and FEDRAMP.
