Summary
Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Mental Health Technician to join their 2nd Shift team in Evansville, IN, working Tuesday through Saturday.
About the Role
As a Mental Health Technician, you will work within Supervised Group living and/or residential dual diagnosis programs for adults, providing supervision, support, and skill-building assistance to help clients achieve their highest level of independence. You will utilize a person-centered approach to assist residents in developing recovery and independent living skills, while not being responsible for hands-on care.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
Preferred:
- Experience working with individuals having psychiatric conditions desirable.
