As a Mental Health Technician, you will be responsible for patient observation, ensuring safety, and performing clerical duties to support the nursing unit. You will work closely with patients who require varying levels of observation and contribute to their overall welfare and treatment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred:
- Two (2) years of collegiate coursework in psychology or related fields.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire.
- One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting.
