About the Role
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will conduct mental health screenings and assessments, provide treatment by developing and modifying individual treatment plans, document treatment activities, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate knowledge of psychological counseling techniques. You will also provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the needs of inmates.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical area.
- Five (5) years of clinical experience, including two (2) years in a comparable job position.
- Appropriate certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs (e.g., LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
- BLS certification.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred:
- A valid driver's license.
