Regina's Safe Alliance is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join their team in Marietta, GA. The role involves delivering trauma-focused assessments and therapeutic services to improve the psychological well-being of crime victims.
About the Role
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will conduct individual and family therapy sessions, develop personalized treatment plans, maintain client records, monitor progress, collaborate with community partners, educate clients on coping strategies, and participate in supervision and continuing education. You will also adhere to ethical standards and assist with outreach activities to promote mental health awareness.
About You
Required:
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Active LMSW, LCSW, LAPC, or LPC license in the state of Georgia.
At least 1-2 years of clinical experience (internship experience may be considered).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in evidence-based trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
Preferred:
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Culturally competent and able to work with diverse populations.
