About the Role
As a Mental Health Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a harmonious living environment for residents, teaching daily living skills, implementing individual service plans, providing support and direction, assisting with community integration, and monitoring medications. You will also participate in staff meetings and ongoing training programs, and assist in the maintenance of program property.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- College courses in the Humanities or Social Sciences.
- Two years of experience working with mentally handicapped individuals.
