Pacific Clinics is seeking a Mental Health Worker II to join their team in West Covina, CA. The role involves providing direct support to clients with behavioral health needs through structured interventions, skill-building, and care coordination.
About the Role
As a Mental Health Worker II, you will work under clinical supervision to engage in client-centered services across outpatient, residential, or community-based settings. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized service plans, documenting client progress, conducting check-ins and wellness calls, and supporting clients in navigating resources. You will also participate in team-based case planning and contribute to a safe and inclusive environment.
About You
Required:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in psychology, social work, sociology, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of experience working with individuals experiencing mental illness, trauma, or co-occurring conditions.
Preferred:
Familiarity with behavioral health documentation, EHR systems, and Medi-Cal standards.
Experience in residential, outpatient, or field-based mental health programs.
Current CPR/First Aid and crisis de-escalation certification (or willingness to obtain).
