Summary
Apex for Youth is seeking a Mentoring Program Manager (Multi-hire) to lead school-year mentoring programs for middle school or high school youth in Lower East Side, Manhattan and Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
About the Role
As a Mentoring Program Manager, you will oversee the implementation of mentoring programs, supervise staff, engage volunteers, and support youth at your assigned location. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day program activities, facilitating workshops, recruiting youth participants, and ensuring high-quality programming throughout the school year.
About You
Required:
- BA or BS preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience working with youth required.
- 1-2 years of experience supervising staff.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proactive nature and self-starter, ability to problem-solve autonomously.
Preferred:
- Program management experience preferred.
- Spoken fluency in Mandarin and written competency in Chinese are preferred but not required.
