About the Role
As a Meteorologist/Air Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for following established protocols to ensure the safety and efficiency of medical transportation. Your duties will include weather reporting, risk analysis, and monitoring flight progress while effectively communicating with team members and managing multiple tasks under pressure. The position requires working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or similar, or Pilot license.
Effective communication and public speaking skills.
Strong ability to multi-task and think critically under stressful situations.
Preferred:
Previous medical dispatching experience.
Two-way radio proficiency.
Experience in weather reporting and risk analysis.
