About the Role
About You
- 3+ years of direct experience with claims reporting in an Employee Benefits / Group Insurance setting.
- 2+ years of experience with Excel, Access, Tableau, SQL and/or other relational databases.
- 2+ years of experience with data analysis, including comfort with setting up relational databases, querying, manipulating and cleaning data sets.
- Specific prior experience supporting one or more of the following products: group dental, vision, life insurance, short/long term disability, statutory benefits, paid family leave, and/or supplemental health offerings.
- Experience with FINEOS claims software preferred, but not required.
- Experience with machine learning and Artificial Intelligence initiatives and associated reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which requires managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly ability to translate complicated technical topics into clear, concise statements.
- Ability to work independently, especially when sourcing data/information and when working on highly technical tasks.
- Comfortable interacting with individuals across a wide range of seniority levels and business areas.
- Self-starter with ability to think outside of the box to deliver solutions and solve business problems.
