About the Role
As a MH Patient Access Coordinator I, you will greet and escort patients, collect and verify patient demographic and financial information, ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements, and assist patients with financial responsibilities. You will also work collaboratively with other departments to meet performance standards and deliver exemplary customer service.
About You
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years experience in a hospital/clinic/physician office or related field preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Aptitude for familiarity with patient access tools, systems, and technologies.
Preferred:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant or Medical Terminology course.
Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office required; Meditech and Athena preferred.
