About the Role
As a Micro Lab Tech 1, you will be responsible for applying approved microbiological techniques and methodologies in analytical testing. Your daily tasks will include preparing samples for indicator organisms and pathogens, maintaining media and reagents, performing quality control monitoring, and ensuring laboratory conditions are met. You will also assist in managing priorities and schedules to achieve team goals while adhering to safety and quality standards.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of a food testing laboratory.
Preferred:
- Associate degree in Life Science or two years of laboratory experience.
- Ability to travel.
