About You
- Master's degree or higher in a science field with at least 30 hours in microbiology and biology plus 3 years of full-time experience in a consumer microbiology laboratory or related field, OR Bachelor's degree with at least 30 hours in microbiology and biology plus 5 years of full-time experience in a consumer microbiology laboratory or related field.
- Class C Texas driver's license with proof of liability insurance.
- Familiarity with required regulations including TCEQ/NELAC, FDA, CLIA, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certification such as MLS, MLT, or MB; ASCP-certified or equivalent (e.g., NCA, ISCLT).
- Previous CLIA and Select Agent regulatory experience.
- Knowledge of good laboratory practices, quality control, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with procedures in microbiology, immunology, parasitology, molecular biology, virology, and chemistry.
