About the Role
As a MIG Welding Supervisor, you will be responsible for quality assurance, production planning, team leadership, training and development, safety compliance, providing technical expertise, inventory management, and performance tracking. You will work in a hands-on capacity to motivate the team and maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
About You
Required:
- 5-7 years of MIG welding experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical degree or certification in welding.
- Advanced knowledge and skills in MIG welding techniques.
- Experience working with, programming, and maintaining welding robots.
- Experience managing a team of direct reports.
- Experience working in an ERP system to manage work orders.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Safety-forward mindset.
- Working knowledge of OSHA workplace guidelines and requirements.
Preferred:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with inventory management best practices.
- Forklift certification.
