About the Role

As a Military and Family Life Counselor, you will be responsible for delivering non-medical counseling, training, and wellness presentations to children and youth of military families. You will work closely with schools and community resources, providing support and guidance to parents and staff. Your duties will include conducting assessments, brief counseling, and maintaining confidentiality while entering activity data. You will also manage critical incidents and participate in training and quality improvement initiatives.

About You

Required:

Master’s Degree from an accredited Graduate Program in a Mental Health related field.
Valid unrestricted independent counseling license (LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT) with a minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience.
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with military members and children.

Preferred:

Experience working in a school setting.
Intermediate-level competencies in technology and software (Microsoft Suite, video-conferencing platforms).
Understanding and sensitivity towards service members and their families.
