Japs-Olson Company (JO) is seeking a Network Engineer to support and enhance their organization's network and telecom infrastructure in St Louis Park, MN. The role involves assisting in the design and deployment of network solutions and contributing to modernization initiatives.

About the Role

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying LAN/WAN, wireless, and remote access solutions. You will monitor and troubleshoot network hardware and software, provide Tier 2-3 support, apply network security best practices, and support compliance efforts. Additionally, you will collaborate with operations teams, contribute to automation efforts, and maintain accurate network documentation.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent advanced certifications required.
2-4 years of progressive experience in network engineering.

Preferred:

Master’s degree in a related field.
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate).
Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar enterprise-grade technologies.
