About the Role
As a Mobility Growth Programs Systems Staff Engineer, you will conduct component and product integration with the engine and airframe, coordinate with module leads for design reviews, drive validation and verification activities, and ensure alignment between engine and airframer. You will also develop specialized knowledge in your discipline, contribute to strategy and policy development, and act as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in engine systems engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in engine systems integration with an airframer.
- U.S. citizenship required for obtaining and maintaining US Government Security Clearance.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Active US Government Security Clearance.
- Familiarity with GE Aerospace products and customers.
- Engineering experience in GE Aerospace engine systems integration or similar role.
- FAA part 33 certification experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
