About the Role
As a Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer, you will guide a team in developing study plans, conducting research, creating models and tools, and briefing decision makers. You will utilize your expertise in analytics and statistics to devise modeling techniques and operational mathematics to enhance efficiencies for IC and DoD customers.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience with conducting analysis of management and operational problems using operations research techniques.
- 4+ years of experience with the application of modeling and simulation to address decision analysis problems.
- 4+ years of experience conducting multiple objective decision analysis or cost benefit analysis in support of research objectives.
- 4+ years of experience with PANDAS, R, Excel and VBA, ARENA, OCTAVE, Tableau, Gurobi and CPLEX, EXTENDSIM, SAS, NETICA, stats models, Stata, MATLAB, or SPSS.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
Preferred:
- Experience with Cameo, including making simulations.
- Experience developing digital twins.
- Experience with developing and performing verification and validation of models to ensure adequacy.
- Experience developing and delivering training materials for operations research techniques.
- Experience conducting problem definition and gathering data requirements from stakeholders.
- Experience briefing results and preparing written reports on analytic approaches and methodologies.
- Experience with the use of machine learning and large language models to solve complex problems.
- Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
