Summary
SAIC is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Planner and Analyst to join their team at the Naval Warfare Development Center in Norfolk, VA. The role involves providing subject matter expertise and support for Navy Fleet HQ staffs in Maritime Operations Centers for command and control of operations at the Operational Level of War.
About the Role
As a Modeling and Simulation Planner and Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating with various teams to develop synthetic exercise scenarios, provide recommendations for synthetic augmentation to live training exercises, and ensure lessons learned from exercises are incorporated into future training. You will also prepare reports and planning products to enable MOC training objectives and coordinate event planning with Navy and Joint planners.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- At least 2 years of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) experience in naval exercises, particularly operational-level exercises.
Preferred:
- Five years of experience in DoD Joint Live Virtual and Constructive (JLVC) modeling and simulation.
- Experience with Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) and other simulation models.
