About the Role

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for interviewing applicants, completing loan applications, gathering documentation, and maintaining relationships with referral sources. You will also manage your loan pipeline, communicate with customers regarding loan status, and adhere to TowneBank Mortgage policies and procedures. Additionally, you will mentor other loan officers and participate in community outreach functions.

About You

Required:

Active NMLS#.
At least 1-year experience originating VA, FHA, Conventional, and VHDA loans.
Proven sales record based on closed loan production.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Awareness of FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, VA, and VHDA underwriting guidelines.
High degree of personal integrity.
Self-motivated.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail.

Preferred:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Working knowledge of Encompass origination software.
