MindShift Research Group is seeking a Mortgage Sales Team Lead to join their team in Southfield, MI. The role involves managing a team of mortgage sales professionals, focusing on coaching, mentoring, and driving sales performance.
About the Role
As a Mortgage Sales Team Lead, you will lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Loan Officers and/or Mortgage Prequalification Specialists to meet or exceed production goals. You will monitor pipeline, activity levels, and conversion metrics to drive continuous improvement, provide hands-on training and sales coaching, and collaborate with operations to ensure a smooth client experience. Additionally, you will manage daily huddles, one-on-one performance meetings, and assist with recruiting and onboarding new sales team members.
About You
Required:
2+ years of mortgage sales experience (as a Loan Officer or sales manager preferred).
Active NMLS license.
Proven ability to lead and coach sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
Solid understanding of mortgage processes and loan products (FHA, VA, Conventional, etc.).
Track record of meeting or exceeding personal and team sales goals.
