KBR, Inc. is seeking a Motor Transport Supervisor to join their team in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves planning, organizing, and leading day-to-day activities related to motor transport maintenance and logistics for the U.S. Marine Corps.
About the Role
As a Motor Transport Supervisor, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanics performing maintenance and repair of motor transport vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment readiness, training mechanics, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and administrative policies. Your role will also involve recommending operational improvements and coordinating with other departments.
About You
Required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation to obtain a Secret Clearance.
8 years of directly related work experience including 2 years of supervisory experience in a motor transport environment.
Completion of the motor transport maintenance officer course or equivalent.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred:
Associate’s degree and/or coursework towards a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
USMC MOS 3510 or 3529 or Army MOS 91X or 91Z.
