Northside Hospital is seeking an MRI Tech - Outpatient - PRN to join their team in Stockbridge, GA. The role involves operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films for patients of all ages in an outpatient setting.
About the Role
As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images using MRI technology, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care. You will work with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, adapting your approach to meet the needs of each demographic.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
Preferred:
- Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
- One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
- One (1) year of training and experience in Special Procedures or Computerized Tomography.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
