About the Role
As an MRI Technologist I, you will be responsible for preparing and checking patients prior to MRI procedures, acquiring and reviewing patient data, performing MRI procedures, educating patients about the process, and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will also handle equipment maintenance, image processing, and assist with scheduling patients.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.T.(MR)(ARRT) required within one year of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.
Preferred:
- One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or in other imaging modalities.
