GSK is seeking an Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Gyn and GI Oncology to join their team in Upstate NY, CT, and Northern NJ. The role focuses on engaging healthcare providers and supporting clinical trials to improve patient outcomes in oncology.
About the Role
As an Oncology MSL, you will leverage your clinical expertise to engage with healthcare professionals, educate them on disease states and product information, and support clinical trials. You will develop strategic engagement plans, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with GSK policies while addressing medical needs in gynecologic and gastrointestinal oncology.
About You
Required:- Must reside within territory for consideration with access to a major airport.
- Doctorate in a clinical/medical field (PharmD, PhD, MD), or a master's in advanced science/clinical/healthcare (e.g., MSN, ANP, MS, MPH).
- Oncology, pharmaceutical industry, clinical or academic experience.
- 2+ years' experience in human pharmacology/pharmacotherapy, preferably in an oncology clinical setting.
- Experience engaging in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with medical professionals and decision makers.
- Experience in delivering medical-based presentations.
- Experience identifying opportunities for medical engagement and developing scientific engagement goals.
- Proven ability to build relationships with external HCPs, experts, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage a multi-state territory with 60-75% travel.
Preferred:- Previous clinical experience in situations where direct/or indirect decision-making authority for patient care was demonstrated.
- Above average computer literacy, including experience with software applications.
