Housing Authority of Joliet is seeking an MTW Program Coordinator to join their team in Joliet, IL. The role involves implementing, managing, and monitoring the Moving to Work (MTW) program, specifically under the Landlord Incentive cohort.
About the Role
As an MTW Program Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with the Housing Choice Voucher department and external stakeholders to establish program policies and compliance strategies. Your responsibilities will include developing program concepts, building relationships with landlords, ensuring adherence to HUD regulations, and preparing performance reports. You will also coordinate meetings and events to promote program participation and evaluate program effectiveness.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in public administration, social work, psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2 to 3 years of experience in public housing programs, program management, or similar roles.
Strong knowledge of HUD programs, policies, and reporting requirements.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Preferred:
Experience working within HUD regulations or affordable housing programs, particularly with landlord engagement.
Strong organizational skills for planning meetings and maintaining internal reporting schedules.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
