About the Role
As a Multi Classroom Support, you will be responsible for preparing youth for success by creating an engaging environment, providing guidance and role modeling, and ensuring the health and safety of all members. You will oversee program development, implementation, and supervision, including record-keeping and communication with families. Additionally, you will supervise classroom staff and volunteers, ensuring compliance with safety and best practices.
About You
Required:
- Must be an associate teacher qualified before November 6, 2017, or have a minimum of 9 credits in related coursework or 1000 hours of supervised child care experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Knowledge of current methods, principles, and techniques of teaching.
- Ability to plan and implement quality programs and form developmentally appropriate relationships with children.
Preferred:
- Experience with curriculum development and application.
- Ability to motivate members and manage behavior problems with patience.
- CPR and First Aid Certifications.
