About the Role
As a Multi-Site Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for taking vital signs, assisting with patient discharge procedures, monitoring and reporting patient progress, and performing various administrative duties such as rescheduling appointments and managing patient referrals. You will also ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff while maintaining confidentiality and complying with HIPAA regulations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and mental health disorders.
- Computer literacy and experience with EMR systems.
Preferred:
- Previous behavioral health or medical assistant experience.
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA).
- Empathy and a compassionate demeanor.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
